Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer specializing in HVDC System Design and Studies, responsible to interpret the customer’s technical enquiry and to design the most cost-effective overall solution for an HVDC installation.
  • The successful candidate will also be involved in the development of tools and processes for HVDC System Engineering and will represent GE in front of external stakeholders such as clients, third party suppliers, and professional bodies.
  • Working in an international team which is part of global Engineering HVDC Centre of Excellence within Grid Integration based in Stafford, offering a key role in a dynamic, international working environment with a large degree of flexibility of work agreements.
