Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine (GCSOM) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at any/open rank in the Department of Medical Education to contribute to curriculum design, education, and curriculum leadership in the discipline of medical humanities and health justice.
A successful candidate will help support the teaching and research efforts of the Center for Medical Humanities and help lead curriculum content in the area of health justice, as integrated into the Systems, Society, and Humanism in Medicine (SSHM) core in the MD program.
The GCSOM curriculum features our Systems, Society, and Humanism in Medicine (SSHM) core, composed of longitudinal themes that are integrated throughout the curriculum meant to transform socially responsible students into socially accountable leaders in the healthcare system and their communities.
