Job Summary
The Environmental Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the plant's operations comply with all applicable environmental regulations, specifically those related to underground injection wells, air emissions, water quality, and waste management and groundwater remediation.
This position will assist with managing the plant’s environmental compliance programs and reporting, as well as interfacing with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and avoid penalties.
The role involves administering and overseeing the Underground Injection Control (UIC) Program, assisting with monitoring air emissions, ensuring compliance with water quality regulations, and managing waste management practices.
