Job Summary
At New York Presbyterian Hospital, our pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists work with premature and newborn infants to young adults to facilitate development and recovery of communication and feeding/swallowing skills.
In this per diem position you will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team involved in evaluating and treating swallowing and communication disorders with our pediatric population in our neonatal and pediatric care intensive care units.

Key Requirements
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Clinical Certificate of Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association
New York State licensure
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
2 years’ experience within the acute care setting
Experience within a neonatal intensive care unit
Certified Neonatal Therapist
Specialized training in pediatric dysphagia and communication evaluations and treatment
