Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 4-7 years post-graduate work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with EPICS toolkit and C/C++ programming
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or Perl scripting
  • Knowledge of distributed control system concepts

Nice-to-have

  • Interest in nuclear physics and isotope science
  • Comfortable working with stepper motors and actuators
  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with version control tools like Git or CVS

Key Requirements

  • Registered as or qualifies for Professional Engineer in BC
  • Must be Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Complete TRIUMF radiation safety training course
