Job Summary
The Budget Director leads the Budget and Financial Planning and Analysis (BFPA) section and is responsible for the development and execution of NCDOT’s nearly $10 billion budget.
The position advises the CFO, the Controller, and other senior and executive leaders at the Department on related matters and may be called on to advise state elected leadership and other state executives on NCDOT spending trends and forecasts.
The Budget Director plays a key role in communicating with the North Carolina Board of Transportation, frequently offering formal presentations to the Board and fielding informal questions between Board meetings.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, accounting or related business area
Five years of administrative experience
