Job Summary

  • The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health, in Hershey, PA, is seeking a candidate for a PT Human Research Technologist to explain study aspects and procedures, maintain lab equipment, apply electrodes and monitor overnight sleep studies.
  • As a sleep technician, the position will be accountable for all overnight sleep research recordings (including consecutive night studies) for clinical trials in human subjects; monitor and track research study files to ensure quality control of data collected.
  • This position is up to 40 hours a week for a maximum assignment length of 16 weeks, working 3rd shift, including some weekends.
