Job Summary

  • The Accounting Technician II serves in the payroll section of the Budget and Finance Division, with primary responsibilities in data processing, data analysis, policy interpretation, and resolving payroll issues affecting NCDA&CS.
  • This is a fully on-site position located at 2 West Edenton Street, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Key Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • One year accounting experience with degree or three years without
  • Two years payroll and time administration experience preferred
  • Must be current State of North Carolina employee or RIF candidate
  • Compliance with state and federal payroll regulations
