Job Summary

  • ApAc Engineering supports the continuity of training delivery through pro-active and reactive maintenance of training devices and infrastructure.
  • Conducts repairs, tests, installs, configures, upgrades and assists in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.
  • This position will be based onsite full time and will operate on a shift pattern of alternate weeks of early shift (0700 – 1500) and late shift (1500-2300).

Must-have

  • troubleshooting systems to isolate faults
  • continuous improvement within ApAc Engineering
  • first line support to building and infrastructure

Nice-to-have

  • time served indentured apprenticeship
  • experience on flight simulators
  • knowledge of the Military Air Environment
  • Microsoft office applications proficiency

Key Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 Electrical/Electronics/Avionics
  • HNC or higher Electronics/Avionics/Aircraft/Engineering
  • United Kingdom Security Check
