The Watsco Center is seeking a Director of Booking to oversee all aspects of event scheduling and management, ensuring strong client relationships and effective operations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in booking and managing events at arenas or similar venues, alongside a collaborative and strategic mindset

Job Summary

  • Oversees all aspects of booking and scheduling ticketed and non-ticketed events at the venue, responsible for content procurement, private and special events, and customer service.
  • Creates an annual venue booking plan, manages budget administration, and ensures budgeted event count is met annually, while inputting and maintaining all events in venue booking software.
  • Establishes an expansive network of promoters, agents, and managers, attends industry events, and rotates as Manager on Duty to maintain total responsibility for clients, staff, and patrons.

Key Requirements

  • 5-7+ years booking arenas, clubs, theatres, stadiums
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with professional or collegiate sports tenants, concerts, trade/consumer and family shows
  • Prior experience using scheduling/booking software
  • Proven success working with promoters, agents, and managers
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker and planner
  • Proven record of developing strong partnerships
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
