The Manager of Underwriting Assistance will lead the UW support team to ensure seamless end-to-end case management by bridging the gap between initial application and final underwriter decision.
This role requires acting as the primary escalation point for sales channels to resolve queries regarding pending requirements and case status within defined SLAs.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
7-10 years life insurance operations experience
3-5 years managerial role in underwriting support
Proficiency in Insurance Core Systems (PAS)
Advanced Excel skills for productivity tracking
Experience managing high-volume environments
Nice-to-have
LOMA or III certifications
Familiarity with OCR digital document workflows
Strong ownership mindset and follow-through
Ability to implement process automation strategies
