Administers peri-operative care for patients undergoing catheterization procedures using general anesthesia, sedation, and local anesthesia when appropriate.
Actively participates in Quality Improvement and Process Improvement activities and collaborates with cardiology teams and hospital administration.

Must-have
perioperative care for catheterization patients
cath lab equipment operation and troubleshooting
patient monitoring and positioning during procedures
documentation of patient records and procedures
collaboration with cardiology and anesthesia teams
maintaining cath lab safety and cleanliness
participation in quality improvement activities
Nice-to-have
knowledge of pediatric congenital heart disease
proficiency with Excel and clinical applications
cross-training in hemodynamic and EP recording
effective patient and family education
communication with multiple hospital departments
research collaboration and data collection
making post-cath follow-up calls
Key Requirements
Graduate of approved professional nursing school
Current or eligible Texas RN license
BLS, PALS and ACLS certified
Previous Cath Lab or Critical Care Unit experience preferred
Knowledge of Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease preferred
