Athomevet is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support veterinarians with medical procedures, animal care, and client education. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of veterinary experience and strong communication skills, with a focus on compassion and attention to detail

Job Summary

  • The Veterinary Technician/Assistant will be responsible for assisting the practice with a variety of duties including but not limited to: Assisting veterinarians during exams, surgeries and other medical procedures; monitoring and caring for animals before, during and after procedures Handling and restraining animals in a calm and compassionate manner.
  • Prepare exam rooms and surgical areas, restocking hospital with supplies. Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment; wrapping surgical packs/instruments. Prepare exam rooms and surgical areas with the necessary supplies.
