The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Ecohydrology to develop a research program and teach courses in watershed management. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in a related field, a strong record of publication, and the ability to secure research funding
Job Summary
This position will establish an innovative, dynamic, nationally-recognized research program in ecohydrology; develop grant proposals and secure funding; publish in peer-reviewed, nationally recognized scientific journals; recruit and mentor graduate students; serve as an advisor for undergraduate students; and coordinate or contribute to cooperative research efforts by faculty and other stakeholders in the region.
Teaching duties will include undergraduate and potentially graduate courses in watershed management and related courses in support of the program.
The tenure-track, 12-month position will carry the rank of Assistant Professor with an approximate appointment of 70% research and 30% teaching.
