KBR is seeking a Security Control Assessor to join their National Security Solutions team in the Washington DC Metro Area. This role involves evaluating security controls for information systems within critical national security environments, and it requires significant experience in security assessments and risk management

Job Summary

  • The SCA is responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment of the management, operational, and technical security controls employed within or inherited by an Information System (IS) to determine the overall effectiveness of the controls.
  • Responsibilities will cover Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities within the customer’s area of responsibility.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 10+ years related experience
  • Prior experience as System, Network Administrator or ISSO
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SAP, SCI or Collateral Information Systems (IS) Security
  • Prior performance in the role of ISSO and ISSM
