The primary purpose of this job is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing supervision and in accordance with established standards and facility policies.
Essential duties include accurately preparing, administering, and documenting medications, noting and reporting errors, and maintaining a friendly working relationship with other healthcare professionals.
The role requires participation in quality assurance programs, adherence to facility procedures for medication handling and destruction, and ensuring resident confidentiality.
