Job Summary

  • The incumbent’s knowledge, skills, and experience in the field of safety and strong interpersonal skills will be utilized to provide in-depth technical and program support over a wide range of department functions, with an emphasis on proactively eliminating hazards in the hospital and laboratory environment.
  • The FLSO routinely liaises local and state authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) on behalf of MGH for inspections and other matters related to regulatory licensing, permitting, and compliance.
