Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Supplier Metallurgical Control Specialist for a remote position primarily focused on reviewing and approving suppliers’ metallurgical and chemical processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material science or engineering, with significant experience in quality control and supplier audits

Job Summary

  • Review and approve suppliers’ systems for chemical and metallurgical process control, and conduct product and process reviews/surveillance at various suppliers.
  • Actively participate in any chemical metallurgical issues/investigations at suppliers that could impact P&W and conduct training on P&W quality material control system requirements.
  • Partner with other P&W business units towards improving supplier overall quality and assist suppliers with non-conformance documentation preparation and root cause corrective action investigations.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required
