Job Summary

• Works under the supervision of the Director of Laboratory Services/Asst. Director/and or Supervising Clinical Laboratory Scientists.
• Performs venipunctures on adults and pediatrics and micro collections on infants.
• Participates in data entry, specimen processing and communicates with clients to help resolve specimen concerns as required.

Key Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques
• Two year acute care hospital laboratory experience preferred
• One to two (1-2) years experience assisting in performing laboratory assays preferred
• Current California CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) certificate
• BLS required
