The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants to maintain the highest degree of quality care at all times.
Responsibilities include administrative duties, medication administration, nursing care functions, staff development, safety and sanitation, equipment management, and participation in quality assurance programs.
The role requires working in various nursing service areas, handling emotionally upset residents and visitors, and being subject to emergency call-backs and continuing education.
