Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Chiller Plant Room design
AutoCAD 2D and RIVET 3D modeling
HVAC Heat Load calculations
BOQ Estimation and Costing
Pipe design concepts
Electrical distribution design knowledge
Compliance with local codes
Nice-to-have
Energy analysis knowledge
Equipment selection and chiller submittals
Knowledge of AHRI, ASHRAE, NBC, SMACNA, LEED codes
Good team player
Proficient communication skills
Ability to travel locally
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in Chiller Plant Room design
Overall 6+ years HVAC industry experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and RIVET
Experience with HVAC Heat Load using HAP and manual methods
Knowledge of major HVAC equipment technical data sheets
