Job Summary
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall management of the entire nursing department and staffing levels, including recruiting, hiring, and training nursing staff.
This role involves developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, ensuring resident safety and respect, and coordinating pharmacy services.
The Director of Nursing will also participate in QA, Utilization Review, Patient Care conferences, and state surveys, while providing direct resident care as needed.
