The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking an Area Planning Deputy Team Leader to support its Development Management team in managing area-based planning, including handling a diverse caseload and team management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and experience in local government planning, along with strong management and communication skills

Job Summary

  • This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing Development Management team in a newly created role, part of our Planning Service transformation.
  • As Deputy Team Leader, you’ll support our two Area Planning Team Leaders in managing the area-based planning teams.
  • We provide flexible working. Our offices are in Uxbridge Town Centre, and you also have the option to work from home 3 days a week.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
