Key Requirements

  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) within two years
  • Illinois Firearm Control Card (FCC) within 90 days
  • Valid FOID or CCW license
  • Stop the Bleed Certification within one year
  • Certified Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER) use within 90 days
  • State of IL 40-hour armed course with semi-automatic pistol endorsement
  • One year experience in security or public safety
  • High school graduate or GED
