Job Summary
The primary purpose of this job position is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration.
Essential duties include maintaining current employee and manager phone numbers, updating tardiness and absenteeism calendars, and coordinating monthly nursing schedules to ensure appropriate unit coverage.
The role requires the ability to cope with mental and emotional stress, work effectively with residents and personnel, and potentially assist in resident evacuation during emergencies.
