The incumbent assumes responsibility for primary and urgent medical management, emergency stabilization of all critically ill patients, and teaching of residents and medical students.

Key Requirements
Master's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's/Master's in Physician Assistant
Current APRN license or Physician Assistant state license
ANCC or AANP certification for Nurse Practitioners
NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants
BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred for PAs
Eligible for prescriptive authority in the state of practice
RNFA certification preferred for Nurse Practitioners
