The Penn State Golf Courses is seeking a part-time Standardized Patient (SP) to assist in training Forensic Nurses through realistic medical simulations. The role involves portraying specific patient cases, providing feedback, and requires comfort with GYN examinations.

Job Summary
SPs are integral to medical-forensic education for Forensic Nurses to learn, develop and practice important trauma-informed communications skills and the art of the medical-forensic interview.
The SPs are carefully recruited and trained to take on the characteristics of real patients and to portray a specific case(s).
The ability to participate in student exam by getting on/off a standard exam table, performing range of motion with your arms, legs and hips and putting on and tying a patient gown with or without accommodation.
