Ensure resident care is provided with established nursing standards and principles, physicians’ orders and administrative policies, as well as, observe, report and record vital signs, symptoms and conditions of residents.

Key Requirements
Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
Relevant experience working within a long-term care environment (2 years or more preferred)
Working knowledge of the MLTC Regulations, Fixing the LTC Act and the Resident Bill of Rights
Knowledge and experience in RAI/MDS, Point Click Care, MEDelink
Successful completion of AIS training
Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead care teams in a unionized environment
