Job Summary

  • The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences champions being a collaborative health care organization focused on improving patient care and the lives of Arkansans.
  • The Patient Care Technician works under the direct supervision of Registered Nurses to perform tasks such as obtaining patient reports, assisting with admission and discharge, and documenting vital signs.
  • All new Patient Care Technicians are required to complete 5 weeks of training Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM after being hired.
