The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health information management, preferably with teaching experience and a commitment to student success. **

Job Summary

  • Continually seeks, in consultation with departmental faculty and Program Director, new and innovative measures to improve or enhance instructional capabilities and procedures.
  • Assists the Director in collaborations and partnerships with community and educational sectors such as hospitals, clinics, physician offices, registries, and other healthcare delivery facilities.
  • Ensures the coordination of curriculum delivery to include planning/assessment for meeting the needs of the HIT students as deemed by the CAHIIM and AHIMA goals.
