Chemours is seeking a Global Business EHS & Operations Sustainability Leader to drive environmental, health, and safety initiatives while enhancing operational sustainability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial manufacturing and a strong background in EHS compliance and strategy development

Job Summary

  • This role leads business EHS & Operations Sustainability governance, monitoring leading and lagging indicators, audit findings and recommendations, regulatory reporting, compliance, and developing business-specific plans for continuous improvement, including Corporate Responsibility goals.
  • The successful candidate will partner with site leadership (Plant Managers, EHS resources/teams) – bringing valued advice, coaching and assistance.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field
  • 10+ years’ experience in Industrial Manufacturing
  • 10+ years’ experience in High Hazard Industrial Chemical Manufacturing
  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 30%
