Job Summary

  • The Senior Claims Officer position is responsible for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of complex NSW workers compensation claims with the aim of supporting our employees through their recovery and return to work.
  • You will manage a wide-range portfolio of claims as well as review and assess workers compensation claims in accordance with NSW Workers Compensation legislation, standards of practice, make liability decisions on claims and treatment.

  • Broad Workers Compensation Claims Management experience
  • Working knowledge of NSW legislative workers compensation framework
  • Expert skills and knowledge in identification and management of complex barriers
  • Expert knowledge of PIAWE legislation, regulation and Standards of Practice
  • Expert knowledge in processing of Workers Compensation Weekly Benefits
  • Higher School certificate or equivalent
