Job Summary
The primary purpose of this job position is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration.
This role involves assisting employees in accurate completion of forms pertinent to scheduling and staffing, and completing monthly nursing schedules coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
The position requires the ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position and to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the facility.
