Job Summary

  • Serves as the customer service contact and subject matter expert to providers, individuals, families, partner agencies and DBHDD staff regarding billing and approval processes for Medicaid waiver and DBHDD state funded services.
  • Gathers, compiles and analyzes fiscal and service utilization data, researches and responds to internal and external inquiries concerning spending and utilization trends, program issues, billing problems, rules and regulations.
  • Makes recommendations to Regional Field Office leadership and the Director of Field Operations for operational changes and identifies trends, discrepancies, and variances to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
