Job Summary
The primary purpose of this job is to assist the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse in day-to-day recording and charting of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards.
Essential duties include maintaining daily census reports, filling out resident charge slips, answering telephones, transcribing physicians' orders, and charting nurses' notes.
The role also involves admitting, transferring, and discharging residents, notifying next-of-kin, and attending committee meetings.
