Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Rehabilitation Support Assistant for a part-time, PRN position in Battle Creek, USA. Job Summary

  • The Rehabilitation Support Assistant performs various duties including: answering telephones, greeting patients, scheduling patient appointments completing registration with accurate demographic and insurance/billing information, insurance verification, obtaining insurance authorizations, patient check-in (including verification of patient demographic information), coding and/or managing work queues, handling medical records, tracking receipt of signed treatment plans/progress notes, ordering/stocking supplies, managing linen and department infection control needs.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-3 years general work experience (hospital preferred), or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Work which produces very high levels of mental/visual fatigue, e.g. CRT work between 70 and 90 percent of the time, and work involving extremely close tolerances and considerable hand/eye coordination for sustained periods of time.
