Job Summary
The primary purpose of this job is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of nursing supervisors and the Director of Nursing Services.
Essential duties include following facility policies, reporting and preventing medication errors, maintaining accurate records, and cooperating with facility surveys and quality assurance programs.
The role requires a licensed Medication Aide with a high school education or equivalent, and the ability to read, write, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.
