  • The Division Chief is responsible for setting and implementing goals and objectives within the clinical, research, and education domains of the division and facilitating opportunities for program development, faculty recruitment, retention and academic promotion, and resource allocation.
  • The division provides comprehensive services for older adults and patients living with serious illness, including geriatric co‑management, memory care, and specialty palliative programs.
  • A primary responsibility of the new Division Chief will be to create and build a new Palliative Care clinical service (for both oncology and non-oncology patients) at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) location.

  • Board certification in Palliative Care and/or Geriatric Medicine
