Job Summary

  • Supports Ground Weapon Systems (GWS) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs by reviewing, analyzing, and implementing mechanical engineering requirements in support of supplier capabilities for Ground Weapons Sytems.
  • This position ensures that supplier-provided mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware meets strict quality, cost, and manufacturability standards.
  • The engineer will support ongoing sustainment of existing weapon system by procuring replacement/repair parts & identify requirements to overcome system obsolescence.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM
  • 2 years of relevant engineering experience (Level 2)
  • 5 years of relevant engineering experience (Level 3)
  • Current, active DoD Secret clearance
  • Experience reviewing engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical systems
