Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
Administer professional services such as catheterization, tube feedings, and wound care, and monitor seriously ill residents as necessary.
Participate in staff development, including in-service training, orientation programs, and continuing education to maintain licensure and professional knowledge.
