Job Summary

  • The Project Manager works as part of the project Delivery Team, in a collaborative environment comprised of multi-disciplinary teams, designers, technical advisors, subject matter experts and contractors overseeing the day-to-day design and construction to deliver the project on-time, on budget and in a safe and standardized manner.
  • Drive the efficient delivery of project elements from detailed design and contract document preparation to construction, contract management, and commissioning activities.
  • Models a safety culture and awareness by ensuring Project Delivery Team stays up-to-date with safety information by actively participating in safety stand downs/site visits and maintaining up to date training to ensure a safe work/onsite.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent
  • Project management experience in transit projects
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • P.Eng. designation is an asset
  • Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies and processes
  • Experience with project life cycle
  • Knowledge of Collaborative project delivery models
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation
