Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Health Information Management / Computer Sciences / Life Sciences / Information Technology / Data Governance and Management or relevant experience
  • Extensive experience working with clinical data
  • Advanced data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Knowledge of relevant database systems (eg MS Access, RedCAP, Other)
  • Familiar with medical terminology and ICD-10-AM coding standards
  • Familiar with the Victorian Health Data Standards and Systems (HDSS) minimum datasets
  • Minimum of two years’ postgraduate experience in a healthcare setting
