Job Summary

  • The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster.
  • The Curriculum intern will support the Mini Newcomer Youth Summer Academy by leading one week of instruction, developing age-appropriate lesson plans and digital tools, providing classroom and operational support, and facilitating classroom activities.
  • Interns will learn about refugee resettlement issues and processes, and apply principles of age-appropriate English Language Arts (ELA) curriculum design.
