Job Description: Ensure implementation and compliance with all occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies on the construction site. Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, or conditions and ensure corrective measures are implemented. Carry out risk assessments and develop safe work procedures. Monitor and enforce site HSE protocol. Deliver HSE inductions and toolbox talks to all personnel, including contractors and visitors. Lead and document investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending improvements. Maintain records of inspections, incidents, audits, and training sessions in accordance with legal and company requirements. Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and project managers to integrate HSE best practices into daily operations. Lead the development and maintenance of emergency response plans and procedures, coordinate emergency drills to ensure employee preparedness, and acted as a key member of the emergency response team, providing leadership during critical incidents. Champion the site's safety culture by fostering employee engagement, ensuring leadership commitment to safety, promoting safety awareness through communication campaigns, safety meetings, and recognition programs, and engaging with employees at all levels to address concerns and promote a proactive safety culture. Liaise with regulatory bodies and participate in compliance audits or inspections. Perform Environmental Control Officer (ECO) role as assigned Any other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Minimum Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in workplace safety and health, preferably in the construction industr Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) Posses Environmental Control Officer under specified Construction Site (ECO/ CS) course and registered under National Environment Age
