Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • CLEET certified applicants preferred
  • Must pass a physical fitness test
  • Must live within 37 miles of assigned duty station
  • Possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to carry a firearm and use deadly force
  • Must be 21 years old
  • Pass a rigid character background investigation, polygraph, pension physical, and psychological evaluation
  • No felony or crime involving moral turpitude conviction
