Job Summary

  • Leidos is seeking a dynamic Field Technician to provide on-site customer (FAA) installations, upgrades and modifications in support of both existing and new hardware, software, network configurations and new system initiatives for all sites within the area of responsibility.
  • This position requires near continuous travel throughout the continental United States, estimated at 75%-90% of the time, with work performed in the Chesapeake, VA office when not traveling.
  • The role involves performing installation functions for premises cabling systems such as CAT5, CAT6 and fiber optic, as well as installing equipment including processors, switches, routers, and seismic anchoring systems.

  • Ability to work in dim lighting
  • Travel 75%-90% of the time
