Job Summary

  • It’s the mission of the NC Department of Transportation to connect people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
  • This position supports management and acts on their behalf for budget, HR related and other administrative functions while serving as a key liaison between the Chief Engineer’s Office and internal and external stakeholders.
  • The employee must be able to perform, manage, and coordinate administrative tasks, research, interpret, and analyze DOT policies and procedures and make appropriate decisions.
