Job Summary

  • This position will partner with wholesalers, to grow a profitable private, not-for-profit management liability book.
  • Review and analyze underwriting files, using judgment and experience as primary criteria, to accept new business or continue renewals within the established authority level.
  • The total compensation will include a base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(K) match, profit-sharing opportunities, and more.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or similar
  • at least five years of Management Liability insurance experience
  • advanced underwriting experience
  • advanced knowledge and understanding of financial statements
  • travel up to 25%
  • strong math aptitude
  • excellent verbal and written communication
  • interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • knowledge of various computer programs
