LyondellBasell is seeking a Corporate Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrical systems and equipment to support their new European refining and petrochemical organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering within the oil and gas or heavy industry sectors, particularly in turnarounds and equipment maintenance, while promoting a culture of safety and operational excellence

Job Summary

  • You will act as a Corporate Subject Matter Expert ensuring all electrical equipment is designed and maintained according to European and UK regulations.
  • The role requires supporting major Turnarounds, developing repair strategies, and leading troubleshooting for complex motor and VSD faults.
  • You will contribute to corporate standards, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor engineers across diverse European assets.
