Salary

Base: $176,000.00 to $222,900.00 (US/Canada); NYC Metro: $211,300.00 - $307,600.00; Non-Metro NY/WA: $187,700.00 - $273,300.00; Bonus/Equity: Eligible for restricted stock units and annual bonuses subject to policy; Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid parental leave, flexible vacation, and volunteer time off.

Must-have

  • Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school
  • Active bar membership required
  • 7+ years of in-house or firm legal experience
  • Deep understanding of OSS licensing (GPL, Apache, MIT)
  • Experience managing complex open source compliance programs
  • Strong background in Copyright and Trade Secret Law

Nice-to-have

  • Computer Science degree or coding bootcamp experience
  • Familiarity with global privacy frameworks like GDPR and CCPA
  • Experience with OSS scanning tools such as Black Duck or FOSSA
